We got tired of waking up tired on our weekend adventures. HEST started with an idea to change the way we sleep in the outdoors. Conceived as a product incubation from our studio, this ongoing project allows us to turn our own product ideas into a reality. As avid outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we identified a need for better rest and recovery. Leveraging all the best things from our beds at home, we built a line of portable sleep products in an adventure-ready format. These products put comfort at the core of everything, with key features emphasizing portability, durability, and performance.

Field & Stream

Revolutionizing the ways we sleep in the outdoors.

We saw the need to create something that addresses a basic necessity - making sleeping outside as comfortable as your home bed - so you can sleep well and play more. No longer do you need to come home weary from camping or travels, however long or short, feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation. 

Not only do these products redefine what it means to sleep in the outdoors, they do it with minimal impact on the environment. Sustainability is at the forefront. All of the products are designed and assembled in Seattle. The enhanced memory foam - the secret behind the comfort - is sourced domestically. This eliminates our need for overseas shipping and logistics. We are also proud to say each product sold supports environmental initiatives like Protect Our Winters (POW) and 1% For The Planet.

The Sleep System

This is the product that started it all. Designed with the outdoors in mind, the Sleep System brings all the comforts of your home mattress but is ready to roll with you wherever your adventures lead. We paired temperature resilient memory foam with a supportive and durable outdoor-ready drop-stitch base. Perfect for tent camping, van life, and truck conversions, or simply sleeping on the ground under the starry night sky. This was a game changer that redefined outdoor comfort and a restful night’s sleep.

The Dually

With growing momentum around van life and overlanding, The Dually embraces the weekend warrior or full time nomad with more space and a more extensive camper build. Perfect for a roof top tent or camper van, it sleeps two comfortably with extra room for an adventure dog to join! We incorporated the same multi-layer foam for optimal body alignment and pressure point relief with technical - yet comfortable - textiles that provide durability and protection from the great outdoors.

The Pillow

Our take on this nightly necessity packs a ton of technical features and tidy details into a tiny, portable package. Perfect for sleeping on airplanes, road trips, camping or even nightly use, the temperature resilient memory foam will keep your head in the clouds while the durable, pack-into-itself outer cover will keep it clean while you play. The pillow continues to be a huge market success and is now available in 4 different size offerings.

The Foamy

The Foamy builds on the success of the Sleep System, and offers a more compact solution. It contains the same two layer, enhanced memory foam, however the inflatable, drop-stitch base is swapped out for a lighter weight, water-resistant cover. Low profile hardware allows two mattresses to connect and become one, while integrated compression straps help roll things into a tight, portable package. Simply toss your Foamy roll in your rig and get after it! No pump or air is needed.

Accessories & Collabs

As the brand continues to grow and gain momentum, we have been able to introduce many new accessories and collaborate with some exciting brand partners. The line up now includes bedding options that help elevate comfort and provide an easy solution to keep gear clean. Totes and duffels help keep everything organized while moving from the car to camp - or grabbing some last minute groceries and beers for the ultimate overland meal.

The Dog Bed

The Dog Bed was designed for our four-legged adventure friends: small, medium and large. We used the same premium memory foam as all the other mattresses along with the same outdoor-tested materials and design details. An additional liner around the interior foam helps protect from wet messes and the inevitable dirty pup. Nothing less for your HEST friend!
